I drove over to Santa Cruz to pick up a part for a friend in Arizona and then drove back over to San Jose to drop said part off at another friend’s house. He’s going to take said part down to Arizona for friend #1. Did I take a single snapshot the entire trip? No. Sorry. But I am still uber-pleased with how my stereo setup sounds!

Okay, so my cell phone’s camera does not do this justice at all! But watch my iPod. When I used to run it through a stereo deck, I’d have the volume nearly maxed just to hear the music. Now, I can have the volume only half way up and I’ve plenty of knob left!

Trying to Hook Up Tunes
So I’m fighting a cold this week, but I’ve been itching to try and get some music back in the bus. When I’ve had the time and the energy, I’ve been down at the bus, wiring up the amp, getting the input for my iPod, and pulling out a speaker to test it with. Got to Drive the Bus Today
Felt good after not being able to drive it the past 8 days. Popped the rotor back into the dizzy and ran a couple errands now that we’re home from Vegas. FWIW, Shasta…31 days away!

Happy New Year, VWCamper Followers!
We got back from Vegas to our friends’ place in Livermore around 11.20pm last night. Enough time to unpack the car and get ready with a drink for midnight. I want to welcome all the new followers! Thanks! Regular updates will resume Monday, but winter in Vegas isn’t the best viewing time for old VWs. Two Beetles, two Bay-era campers, and two sand rails on trailers. That was it.
